Custom Heart Necklaces

Custom heart necklaces are heart-shaped pendants you personalize with engraved names and dates, birthstones for each person you love, or a hidden photo fitted inside a locket. Many pieces use 925 sterling silver and others copper alloy or stainless steel — selected designs add gold or rose-gold plating — made to order.

Shoppers choose them for anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and milestone birthdays.

Engraved, Birthstone, or Photo: Picking Your Heart

Start with the story the pendant should tell. A name, a wedding date, or a short phrase reads best on an engraved heart, where the text stays visible every day. Honoring several people at once — children, sisters, a lifelong friend — calls for an intertwined-hearts design that holds two to five names, each paired with its own stone; you can compare those styles side by side in heart birthstone necklaces. And when the memory lives in an image, a heart photo locket tucks the picture inside the pendant, close without being on display.

  • Engraved hearts — names, dates, or a short message cut into the metal
  • Birthstone hearts — two to five names, each with that person's birthstone
  • Photo lockets — a treasured picture fitted inside the heart

What Each Pendant Is Made Of

Many necklaces here use 925 sterling silver, with selected designs finished in gold or rose-gold plating; the rest use copper alloy or stainless steel. Because the names, stones, and photos are yours, each piece is made to order rather than pulled from stock — production starts after you confirm the personalization details. Chains come in 16-inch, 18-inch, and 20-inch lengths, so you can match how she likes a pendant to sit.

Occasions Where a Heart Necklace Lands

Hearts do their best work when the relationship is the gift: an anniversary marked with your wedding date, Valentine's Day with a private phrase engraved on the back, Mother's Day with every child's birthstone in one pendant, or a milestone birthday with her name and year. To weigh hearts against bar, disc, and script styles before deciding, the full personalized necklaces collection lays out every shape we make.

Ordering Without Regrets

Two practical notes before checkout. First, personalized and engraved pieces are made to order and final sale, so read the engraving back twice — spelling, dates, stone months. Second, production takes up to 4-7 business days and typical delivery runs 7-12 business days, so for a fixed date, order about four weeks ahead. For pointers on photo sizing and locket styles, the heart locket buying guide walks through each decision step by step.

Frequently asked questions

What can I engrave on a custom heart necklace?

Names, birthdates, wedding dates, or a short personal message. Engraved hearts keep the text visible on the pendant, while photo locket styles can pair an engraving with a picture hidden inside.

How many names fit on a birthstone heart necklace?

Most intertwined-hearts and heart-pendant designs hold two to five names, each matched with that person's birthstone — enough to cover children, siblings, or a close friend group on one pendant.

What chain lengths do these necklaces come in?

Chains are available in 16-inch, 18-inch, and 20-inch lengths. An 18-inch chain sits near the collarbone on most wearers and is the safest choice if you are unsure.

Are custom heart necklaces real sterling silver?

Yes. Many are. Pieces here use 925 sterling silver, copper alloy or stainless steel, and selected designs are finished with gold or rose-gold plating over that base.

How is the photo added to a heart locket necklace?

Each photo locket is made to order with your picture fitted inside before it ships. Choose a clear, well-lit photo with the subject near the center so it crops cleanly into the heart shape.

Can I return a personalized heart necklace?

Personalized and engraved pieces are made to order and final sale, so double-check spelling and dates before ordering. Eligible non-personalized items can be returned within 60 days of delivery for 80% of the item price, or exchanged with no deduction.
