Each cord carries a small projection bead holding the picture you send us — shine a light through it and the photo appears, in full color and far bigger than the bead itself. The silver charm on each bracelet is one half of a heart, and the halves are magnetic: bring your wrists together and they click into a whole. One stays with you, one goes with them. How to personalize: upload one photo and pick your color pairing. We print the same picture inside both projection beads — no engraving, no app, nothing to set up. Faces read best when they fill the frame, so a close-up works better than a wide group shot.
How to see the picture: hold the bead close to your eye and look toward a light; or point your phone camera at the bead and look at the screen; or, in a dark room, shine your phone's flashlight through the back of the bead onto a wall.

A microscopic image of your photo is printed inside a clear gemstone or capsule. To view it, hold a phone flashlight close to the back of the stone — the image projects through and becomes visible on any surface or even your fingertip.
What photo works best for projection?
High-resolution photos with clear faces, good lighting, and a simple background project most clearly. You position and preview your photo right on this page before adding to cart, so you control exactly how it is cropped and framed.
Is the projection visible without a flashlight?
The image is brightest under direct light from a phone flashlight or LED. Under normal indoor lighting it appears as a subtle inner detail — the projection effect is the main "wow" feature you reveal on demand.
Can the photo wash off or fade?
No. The image is permanently encased inside the gemstone — water, sweat, and daily wear will not affect it. As with all fine jewelry we recommend removing before showering or swimming as a general care practice.
